Since the inception of the company in 1958, sustainable social initiatives have been the key drivers of our philosophy to contribute and give back to the community in which we operate. We have sought to address community concerns in our quest to become more responsible corporate citizens.
Our diverse and sustained programs support health, education and life skills development in communities through participation and project funds. We also help the community - particularly the women to engage in entrepreneurial ventures to support their families and thereby gain the skills and confidence in dealing with issues that impact their lives. Over the years, our stakeholders in the community have participated in and benefited from our initiatives.
Our social responsibility footprint extends to the communities in Kasarwadi where our oldest factory is located, Morwadi an urban slum close to another factory and Bopkhel, an erstwhile village now termed a fringe suburb, situated a few kilometers away from the factory at Kasarwadi.
